Facebook posts for your Home party!

I don't know about you, but I like to set up a Facebook even page for my home party hostesses! I use the event page to post a few things leading up to the big day and I know for a fact my system get's a few more guests to the party. Let me show you what I  mean!

I have all these posts set up as a template on www.postmyparty.com so I can easy-peasy schedule them all to a party in less than a minute. Did I tell you that PostMyParty has smart tags? Just put [host] [link] or [text] in your post and when you schedule a party you'll have a chance to tell it to change ALL the [host] tags to the host's name. SO FAST!

7 days before the party:

Hey Ladies! I'm Carly, your Thirty-One girl. It's only 1 week until the party and I can't wait to meet you face to face! In the mean time I wanted to introduce myself :) Where are you from and how do you know [host] ?

>>>TIP: Picture made at www.picmonkey.com

6 days before the party:
A special little sneak peek for you! Check out the special this month :D What do you think of the Tall-Organizing Tote?

>>>TIP: This post updates to the current monthly special every month.

5 days before the party:
How many hot wheels are in my Little's Carry All Caddy?? Give us your best guess!

Comment 2 days before the party:

Let's make sure everyone gets 1 guess in before tomorrow! I'm bringing the answer with me and the closest guesser is getting a prize at the party! :)

>>>TIP: THIS is what gets guests to the party! I have had SEVERAL guests come to me at the party and ask how many Thinga-bobs were in the whatcha-call-it and say they missed such-&-such because they NEEDED to know! The closest guess only gets the prize IF they are at the party! When I remind the hostess to send reminders to her guests I ask her to let them know they need to get their guess in so they have a chance to win a prize at the party!

4 days before the party:
I have a little sneak peek of the Spring newness just for YOU! Which of these do you like best and what would YOU use it for?

>>>So many TIPS here! Get a hyperlapse app on your smart phone to easily record a speedy fast video! Want to edit? Check out www.wevideo.com. Upload your video to a Public Figure/Business Person page. You can share the link and will get 6x's more views on Facebook than if the video was from an outside website like YouTube!

3 days before the party:
Here are some bundle ideas using the February customer special! Save $25? Heck yes!

I collected these bundle pictures off of various consultant Facebook groups.
KUDOS to the creators!!

>>>TIP: Store these pictures in an album on a Public Figure/Business person page. Easy-peasy copy & paste link to embed the album in a post on the event page!

1 days before the party:
Woah! The party is already Tomorrow! Can't wait!! Question, if you could re-do ONE area of your house  with Thirty-One what would you pick?

>>>TIP: I love this post because I get an idea of what the guests are interested in. I only bring 10 solution sets to each party and this helps me know if there's something specific I should make sure is included! I also store lots of album with pictures of products in use on my Public Figure page. I can easily copy and past those links during this conversation to help the guests start to picture what their space could look like with some Thirty-One ;)

1 day AFTER the party:

Had a BLAST last night <3 Thank you to everyone who came! If you couldn't make it here's the link to shop online: [link]

Party closes tomorrow so get your last minute orders in tonight! Thanks again, ladies :D

>>>TIP: I don't post the party link until after the party unless I'm specifically asked for it. I want the guests to COME to the party and build a relationship with me. I try not to give them and easy out to just order online and not come. It's a personal preference that I choose because I feel like a "salesy" post before the party shifts their focus off the relationships and onto shopping before I've had a chance to make friends :)

There you have it!! That's my Pre-Home Party Facebook strategy. What do you do on your hostess' Facebook event pages?
