32 Ways to Book a Thirty-One Party!

This is a collection of ideas shared by consultants all over the country who are working to fill their calendars. I collected them and put them together in this list to help us get some ideas. I hope you find something that fits your style!


  1. Here is one of my ideas: Cookies & Catalogs. I am going to doctor offices, hair salons, etc. to drop off copies of the fall catalog with a box/plate of cookies with the following note:

"This gift of cookies is for you and your office to snack on while you browse the awesome Thirty-One catalogs. Share the Love of Thirty-One with the your friends and family.
If you see something you like, go to my website (see on the back of the catalog) to buy it. If you see a few things you LOVE, Book a party and get them for FREE! If you see a bunch you have to have, join my team! ENJOY YOUR COOKIES & Catalogs!"


2. This is what I'm texting out today: "Hey _____! How are you doing?! I'm so excited to be able to share the new spring catalog with a few people and I'm offering PILLOW PARTIES to my hostesses in February! That's right, we now have pillows! You'd be the FIRST to show them off to your friends! Does February work for you?"

3. I am trying to do more themed parties. So far I have a Bingo & a Bunco scheduled. What is bunco?It's a dice game. It is a lot of fun!


4. So everyday next week, I'm going to walk into two different daycare centers outside of my area with a tote full of goody bags for the daycare workers. On the outside of each goodie bag is a label that says “Fill it in and text to win!” With my cell #. On the inside is an enter my drawing slip, a mini catalog (labeled with my info), a coupon for $10 in extra hostess credit if they book a party with me, and a chap stick with my contact info.

6. I started back at the beginning and created a new list of 62. I will be sending out msgs or emails, plus posting in my group.


7. Offer themes instead of bookings! Offer a choice of 3-5 of your favorite themes and ask if any of them sound super fun to have with the ladies and they'll get freebies just for having fun!

9. Belong to any parenting groups or groups with predominately women? Message the admin and ask for permission to host a Pillow Party inside of the group! She will get hers for free just for saying yes!

11. My Hostess Appreciation event is on Saturday. There will be goodie bags for everyone and raffles for some prize items. All their new catalogs are wrapped as gifts. We'll be playing games to win more prizes. I plan to spoil them with goodies and FUN and thank them for making 2015 a great year! I have 18 confirmed guests and a few maybes. February is almost full but I'll be working on the whole season. And I second the HOME party suggestion. Most of my customers don't even want any other kind of party once I explain that home parties are less work for them and more free stuff!  Ladies, go for the gold - it's so amazing when your calendar fills up AT the party! No frantic moments, no booking calls needed! It will revolutionize your business!


12. Join a PTA, or something with your kids to help meet people! Then carry your stuff everywhere!


13. Vendor events may be a way to get some exposure for your business and meet new people in the community.


14. I did a survey that asked several questions about parties, referrals and joining. From their answers, I put together individualized packets for each person according to what they said. I sent them out last week. Fingers crossed for the ones who said they would book a party! I had one already ask further questions for booking a party.

15.  I still go back to one of the basics, hostess stacking. I am a visual girl and so for me seeing what I can get for a discount or free would make me want to have a party. This always works for me!


16. Get the catalogs in the people's hands. New catalogs started getting delivered yesterday and last night I got a FB message that she loves the new products. Ok let's do a party. Sure.


17. I'm going to try and start up new hostess club, I have a wine and coloring party and I'm going to do a survival kit launch party for new book and I'm working on a bingo party!


18. I posted this picture and said “Who wants a sneak peek? Pick a page 1 - 55 and I'll show you that page! A few pages have prizes on them.” EVERY prize had an “upgrade” option that they could get if they booked a party

19. Fill a New Bag with Blessings! This is a home party with a preacher's wife as the hostess. We are going to do a Bible study of Proverbs 31, have a Thirty-One party, and eat!


20. I'm booking fundraisers using the Tall organizing tote So far one booked. I have 2 catalog parties based on the hostess exclusive for February. And just booked a home show for March off of my catalog survey that I sent out. I used Melissa's idea of giving them an option of February or March and it worked awesome!


21. I'm just old fashioned asking, “hey Lori, it's been 2 years since we partied! I have a great new catalog and thought of you.” Short and sweet.


22. Spring Premier Party on the 4th so hoping to book up there. I have things like oh-snap bins, littles, zipper pouches to use as booking incentive. Book a party today and pick one for me to bring to you at your party!


23. I'm doing a Galentine's wine tasting party for my launch! I did a follow up with all my past hostesses to rebook!


24.  I am asking my recent hostesses to post pics with their awesome rewards on their Facebook page! It's like real life hostess stacking. I always suggest home parties!


25. In my Facebook parties I offer an incentive $10 to the first 3 girls to message me they want to party if 4 girls message me they don't have to know that the 3 has already been taken


26. Just do it! There is nothing better than deciding to get on the phone and ask. I did just that on Monday night for 2 hour... text called and FB. 31 peeps in all. I now have 3 Home parties, 3 catalog/online parties BOOKED for February! 1 catalog for March, 1 home party for May! 4 are still looking at calendar (they did respond back, that's something) JUST DO IT! that's my advice


27. I just moved to a brand new town so I am combining a launch party with a meet the neighbours wine tasting party. I figure they will be curious about the new neighbour and who doesn't love wine. I have little gift packages for everyone and product for booking incentives.


28. 5 of us went in on a rental for a party hall and then we all invited our top hostesses from 2015 to join the party and to bring a guest. We played games, planted recruiting seeds, took orders for January, and gave away a ton of prizes to make it fun and exciting. It was wonderful.


29. I am in a new area as of September. I need to get into the community so I have a fundraiser ready, a Bingo, home party and working on setting a couple more dates in the making. I went back to childhood memories with an in home pillow party with pj contest. Using the exclusive pic as well. Offering extra hostess credit to get bookings from Ladies that have been putting off a party. I also have been stalking friends on social media that keep screaming out they need a break! wink emoticon Then I'm catching them on a good posting day while commenting how it sounds like they are ready for a ladies night! They book!


30. Post this first picture in your group and even on your main page and simply said..."which one would you choose"?
A day or 2 later respond to EACH person who picked one, with these tailored messages below. Send in a PERSONAL message or text!

32. I posted these 3 photos (me posing with a product from my kit that is retiring) and asked people to like the one they wanted to get for FREE, I messaged the ones who liked the pics
I tailored so they didn't sound too salesy or cheesy but along the lines of "Thanks for your like! Isn't the Cindy tote awesome! I love it in that print. I am giving it away as a Hostess gift for February wink emoticon have you ever thought of having a Thirty One party?  and now I have an in home party booked!
