Let me show you how I used a google form in September to get some activity buzzing in my business! (Don't worry you could adapt this to any month)
I posted this in my closed customer group:
"Peeps, I need your help! I rarely ask for it, right? This is a pretty easy task and to show my appreciation I'll send you some special deals in the mail! All I need you to do is fill out this online form and give me your honest opinion: http://goo.gl/forms/NMFRujJVMo
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!:D"

Dude, I learned some cool things from this survey! And not just about what people wanted to see and not see in my customer group. Like, people who selected that they wanted to see more posts about the perks of becoming a consultant, AWESOME to know right?!
Above and beyond getting feedback about what your people want to see in your group you are getting an inside look at what they're thinking about. Someone who selects that they'd prefer to see "perks of joining" over "trends and fashion" is possibly considering joining your team but waiting for the right time!
This last question was huge for my business:
Hey Carly, when you mail my coupons please send me more info about:
(Select all that apply)
Are you wondering about the coupons I included? Here they are:
This one I didn't put an expiration date on
This one I put an expiration date on the back for the end of the month
How do you make a google form? Oh, my gosh. It's so easy! You'll love it, here's a little tutorial I made for my team: https://youtu.be/0US5KQETYQk
On second thought, mine's not very good. You can just go to youtube.com and search "How to use google forms" and like a million good tutorials will pop up.
Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! Now, go get something rolling in your business, sister friend!
